How to report an error and how substantive changes are recorded.

Email support@aeonion.com with the article URL, the passage you are concerned about, an explanation, and any supporting research or documentation. You do not need to agree with our interpretation to raise a concern. Please avoid including private medical records or other sensitive personal information.
Reviewing the evidence
The editor reviews the disputed claim against the available sources and may request clarification. A correction request does not automatically establish an error; disagreement over interpretation is considered in context. We do not promise a fixed response time, but prioritize concerns that could materially mislead readers or affect health decisions.
Making changes visible
When a factual error materially affects a story, we correct the text and add a dated note explaining what changed. Substantive additions, changes to conclusions, and important new evidence are also identified. Minor spelling, punctuation, formatting, or broken-link repairs may be made without a correction notice when they do not change the meaning.
If the central premise cannot be supported, the article may be withdrawn. Where appropriate, an explanatory notice should remain at the original address. A source retraction or major correction prompts a review of affected coverage.
Beyond the article
If an error also appears in an AEONION social post, we review whether that post needs a correction, replacement, or removal. Edits to our website do not automatically update copies shared elsewhere.
